20-minute talk | 25-minute live Q&A
Join SENDCO and assistant headteacher Aimee Cave, live, to learn how to make practical adjustments for specific needs that are often easy and quick and don’t have to cost the earth.
A firm believer that "every teacher is a teacher of special educational needs," Aimee will share her tips on how to make small changes in the classroom that can have a big impact on the progress, behaviour and happiness of pupils with SEN or disabilities in your primary school.
She'll draw on her experience as the SENDCO of one of the first ADHD-friendly schools in the country, Pocklington Junior School, to guide you through the whole process, from using diagnostics to working with parents, and recommend tried-and-tested adjustments that you can make too.
In this live-streamed event, you'll get an exclusive first view of Aimee's upcoming pre-recorded talk for IdeaStream, and be able to put your own questions to Aimee directly in a live, post-talk Q&A discussion.
